Dr. Peter Bryant - Senior Lecturer
Peter Bryant has over 15 years experience in a range of industries including management roles with Qantas, St George bank, Deloitte, and Allen & Buckeridge venture capital. He recently worked at the University of Sydney where he managed the creation of new startup companies. Peter graduated BA (Hons) with Medal from the University of Sydney, was a graduate student at Harvard and Cambridge Universities, and recently earned his PhD in entrepreneurship from Macquarie University.
Peter's current research aims to build and test new theory about the emergence and development of entrepreneurial organizations, focusing in particular on the creation and growth of innovative firms and the role of entrepreneurs in these processes. This research agenda relates to central questions in the fields of entrepreneurship, organizational theory, business policy and strategy, managerial cognition and innovation management. His research agenda also maps onto important areas of practical concern, such as how best to nurture and develop innovative entrepreneurial firms in dynamic environments.
