Future Entrepreneurs of the World Summit

Young Entrepreneurs from 42 Countries Meet at Macquarie

MII will host the Future Entrepreneurs of the World Summit (FEWS), from the 15th - 19th July 2007. This four-day summit will develop promising student's ability to develop valuable innovations. Eighty of the most innovative young entrepreneurs from around the world will be attending this inaugural event.

This global gathering of student entrepreneurs presents an opportunity for delegates to develop business ideas and learn how to turn them into a reality. Keynotes at the summit include academics, venture capitalists and established entrepreneurs such as Naomi Simpson from Red Balloon Days and Luke Fryer, the founder of Wagamama.

"Through opportunity evaluation workshops, idea generation activities and seminars, these students will learn how to create economic and social value for their communities" said FEWS director and MII Student Intern Mark Tayar. With the support of the Macquarie Institute for Innovation the student-led and student-run organising committee hope that the July summit will become an annual event.
