Description
This unit is an intensive introduction to new venture creation. It covers some of the fundamental ideas of idea generation, opportunity assessment, accounting, finance, marketing, and management, from the perspective of the processes involved in establishing a new business or non-profit venture. The emphasis is on identifying attractive opportunities, and the process of developing the ideas that underpin these opportunities through to the launch and successful development of a viable commercial entity.
Assumed knowledge
This is a foundation course that assumes no background in business or entrepreneurship.
